Biography

I studied architecture at the University of Portsmouth, graduating from the part 2 Diploma course in 1989 with double distinction. I passed the Professional Part 3 examination in 1991 and am a registered architect with the Architect’s Registration Board and member of the Royal Institute of British Architects.

I have taught at the Portsmouth School of Architecture since 1989 and was appointed as a full time member of staff in 1993. I have worked as year coordinator for each of the undergraduate and postgraduate validated courses and have been course leader for both programmes. I lead the teaching of History and Theory and am chair of the Board of Studies. I chair the CCI Faculty Library committee. I serve in various roles for the RIBA.
