Biography

As a Principal Lecturer at the Institute of Criminal Justice Studies (ICJS), University of Portsmouth, I teach across the curriculum and coordinate modules on youth crime, youth justice, wildlife crime, green criminology and environmental justice.  Following a BSc (Hons), MSc and Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (PGCLTHE),  I completed my doctoral thesis within the area of community reparation and restorative justice for young offenders, now published with Palgrave Macmillan.  I have published multiple book chapters and a number of peer-reviewed journal articles within the fields of policing, youth crime, multi-agency working; research methodology; community sentences and wildlife crime, including the trade in endangered species.  I welcome expressions of interest for doctoral study.
