Ms Nicole Nyamwiza
I joined the Institute of Criminal Justice Studies as a Lecturer in 2019. I currently teach on the Community Justice and Criminology and Criminal Justice programmes. Prior to this, I worked as a Probation Officer for two years specialising in working with serious group offending and organised crime. My practitioner background has provided me with a good understanding of criminal behaviour and all aspects of community and custodial supervision. I have also worked closely with third sectors in voluntary capacities.
My current teaching interests are within gang crime, victimology and the rehabilitation and management of offenders.
I am a module co-ordinator on the level five programme Crime and criminal behaviour. I also deliver masterclasses across all modules on the distance learning Community Justice Degree and I teach on the campus based Understanding Criminology module.
