Summary
I am a research fellow in Macroeconomics at the University of Portsmouth. My research areas include business cycles, economic growth, financial development and the Chinese economy.
Biography
I received a PhD/MRes degree in Economics from the University of Manchester in 2019, a MSc in Economics (with distinction) from the University of Manchester in 2015, and a MSc in Banking and Finance (with distinction) from Loughborough University in 2013.
Research Interests
I am studying economic growth and business cycles from the perspectives of financial development and technology innovation, using applied theoretical approaches such as Bayesian DSGE model.
My current research interests include:
• Macroeconomic consequences of shadow banking development
• Central bank digital currency
• Technology innovation and total factor productivity
• Chinese macroeconomy
