Summary
I am a Senior Lecturer in Cybersecurity in the Institute of Criminal Justice Systems. I am the course leader for the BSc Hons Criminology and Cybercrime degree.
Research Interests
My research currently focusses on cybersecurity pedagogy and theory.
Biography
I graduated from the University of London in 1986, with a BSc (Hons) degree in Chemistry. I completed an MSc in Applied Computing in 2002 at the University of Portsmouth. I am currently studying for a Professional Doctorate in Systems Risk Management.
I started working at the university in 2014 after over 20 years as a secondary teacher. My initial role was to deliver initial teacher training to computer science trainee teachers. I also work in the School of Computing, teaching programming. In 2019 I moved to the Institute of Criminal Justice Systems. I am now the course leader for the Criminology and Cybercrime degree. This combines my interests and experiences in computing, education and cybersecurity.

I am the course leader for the BSc Hons Criminology and Cybercrime degree.
