Miss Vasiliki-Celia Antoniou
Dr Celia-Vasiliki Antoniou is Lecturer in Applied Linguistics and TESOL
Celia is a Lecturer in Applied Linguistics and TESOL at the University of Portsmouth, UK. She holds a BA in English language and Literature from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and an M.Phil. in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland (Graduate scholarship). Additional honors and awards include her research studentship for a PhD in the Department of Language and Linguistics, University of Essex, UK where she was also working as an EAP tutor and Graduate Teaching Assistant for 5 years. She currently teaches linguistics, psycholinguistics, and methodology of TEFL at various levels. Her main research interests lie in the areas of instructed SLA (in particular concept-based instruction and individual differences), computer enhanced learning, socio-cultural theory and English for specific / academic purposes.
