AFM analysis of bacteria exposed to 'a commercial product'

Project: InnovationI: Consultancy and Services

Description

Consultancy for Oculus Innovative Sciences, CA, USA. £3,820

Atomic force microscopy (AFM) imaging was used to investigate changes in topography to Bacillus cereus and Staphyloccus aureus bacterial biofilms upon exposure to 'a commercial product' and a commercial sodium hypochlorite bleaching agent (control). For each set of experiments, the same area of the biofilms was observed on exposure of these reagents over the duration of the experiments (ca. 1 h).
