Disengagement detection in online learning environments
A data mining approach was used to detect disengagement; relevant features for disengagement detection were identified that are typically logged by most online learning environments. The approach was used for 2 systems and the results indicated the generalisability of the approach by validating the disengagement detection in different contexts.
