Implications of the Security State in Pakistan for Social Inclusion and Access to Justice

Project: Research

Description

A FHSS-funded project to identify key local stakeholders in Pakistan to evidence the impact of state-security apparatuses on groups trying to access justice. The qualitative focus was on identifying Civil Society actors/NGOs/researchers who advocate on behalf of Christian minorities and for women's access to education/political representation.

Key findings

The capital investment for this project was strategically allocated to maximise outcomes, including those to identify and mobilise key stakeholders in order to evidence impact and to secure sustainable development of the project. The FHSS investment has also allowed the collection of primary data relating to the recurrence of communal violence against the Christian minority population of Lahore.
