Materials design for facilitating English for Academic Purposes
I am designing new teaching materials to be used in the classroom, in tutorials and for students self-study around the area of commonly (misused) linking words in academic English.
The student profile I am working with are predominately Chinese and respond well to images in place of text to engage with a concept. The Chinese language is pictorial and using a mixture of images and text to facilitate learning is seems appropriate.
