This film was produced by the AHRC to summarise the contributions of communities and academics in a collaborative series of research projects throughout the UK, under the leadershiop of Dr Keri Facer,
Professor of Educational and Social Futures, University of Bristol.
University of Portsmouth, in collaboration with New Bucks University and Liberal Judaism UK worked in patrnership on one of the 'Connected Communities' projects. The Connected Communities project in question, 'Ritual Reconstructed', is discussed here by Dr Searle Kochberg as co-investigator, and Shaan Knan as the LGBT+ Jewish community partner. The lead investigator, Prof Margaret Greenfields, acted as advisor on the film.
