Public art on university campuses: how art engages with the public space
Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceeding › Conference contribution
This paper aims to investigate the relationship between public art and the public space on university campuses. The literature specific to public art on college and university campuses is impoverished. Even more rare are research studies discussing the impacts of public art on campuses. Thus the purpose of this research is to contribute to this field of interest, in order to initiate a debate on possible future work focused on the impact of public art on university campuses. The methodology is presented mainly in terms of a literature review and brief analyses of specific case studies.
