N2 - This chapter reviews studies that explore bullying in the workplace within the past decade. The complexity of the problem of workplace bullying is illustrated in complicated models which serve as a framework for conceptual thinking around the processes involved. Issues relating to bullying at the individual level and the dyadic level are discussed. A third level of the work group may also be apparent depending on how many people in the working group report being bullied, which can vary from everyone to just one person being singled out and victimized. Topics discussed include incidence of bullying, victim profile, effects of bullying, explaining bullying, and remedial action.
